GLACIATION was a Horizon Europe Research and Innovation Action that developed energy-efficient, privacy-preserving data operations across the edge–core–cloud continuum. The project combined a distributed knowledge graph, AI-assisted placement, and a privacy- and trust-aware metadata framework to reduce data movement and the energy consumed by data processing.
MOSAICrOWN
Multi-Owner data Sharing for Analytics and Integration respecting Confidentiality and Owner control
MOSAICrOWN was a Horizon 2020 Research and Innovation Action that developed practical methods for sharing and analysing data contributed by independent owners without giving up confidentiality, privacy, or control. The project combined policy-based governance, encryption-based protection, and data sanitisation to support selective disclosure and collaborative computation in digital data markets.
ESCUDO-CLOUD
Enforceable Security in the Cloud to Uphold Data Ownership
ESCUDO-CLOUD was a Horizon 2020 Research and Innovation Action focused on making data owners first-class citizens of cloud environments. It developed deployable techniques that let owners retain control over outsourced data while still using cloud storage, processing, sharing, and multi-provider services.
SeSQLite
SeSQLite is a SQLite extension that integrates SELinux access controls into SQLite with minimal performance and storage overhead. SeSQLite implements labeling and access control at both schema level (for tables and columns) and row level. This permits the management of a fine-grained access policy for database objects.
